Temperament description

The Rough Collie female Kaisla (Riemumielen Hurjasusi Nymeria) is the daughter of Sansa (RTK3 Goldentroll’s Song Of Ice And Fire) and Rasti (FI & SE & EE MVA JK3 TK1 BH Irokon Moonlight), from Riemumielen's second litter, Hurjasudet, born in 2017.

Kaisla is an eager, lively, agile and capable sporting dog with good fighting spirit, and like her mother she is very greedy and crazy about food. She is very well motivated by all kinds of activities and works for both toys and food. Kaisla is open and sociable with people. With other females she tends to be dominant.

With Kaisla I do rally obedience, obedience and object search. Kaisla has progressed quickly in her sports, which in itself says a lot about how trainable she is. Kaisla competes in the highest class of rally obedience, the master class, and in the open class of obedience. She has passed the official herding instinct test.

Kaisla came back to live with us at about 1.5 years of age from her co-ownership home, where an active dog like her was felt to be too challenging.

Kaisla was mated in different seasons with different males, but unfortunately she did not conceive from any of the matings. After the last mating she developed a uterine infection. So there are no puppies expected from Kaisla, and she was spayed in 2024.
